In the year 2022, the government reduced the VAT on electricity to 5% due to the high price of electricity. In January 2024, VAT was increased again to 10%.<\/p>\n

However, VAT on electricity has been increased again from 10% to 21% from 1 March 2024. This is an increase of 11%<\/strong>, which will be immediately applied to the invoice for the month of March.<\/p>\n

You will therefore see that from this month onwards your energy bill will be higher, for the same number of kW of electricity consumed, than you are used to.<\/p>\n<\/div>
